Owner, Les Whitley has over 29 years experience in the agency business. He started working in the warehouse of an established agency during college in 1977. After receiving a degree in electronic engineering, he began to service the equipment sold by the agency. He later moved into sales. Duties included warehouse management, inside sales, job quotations and outside sales. After agency was sold, he established Rep Tec Inc in 1988. RTI currently covers the states of North and South Carolina and does business with more than 250 electrical distributors. RTI also calls on engineering and architectural firms in our sales area to secure specifications on the products that we represent. We have a sales office in Charleston, SC and have sub-rep agreements with other specification reps that use our products on their projects. Sales efforts are also directed at contractors , lighting showrooms, industrial & commercial end-users, property managers, display builders and ESCO’s. RTI maintains a NC warehouse to service our customers on a timely basis with local stock.
